Knowing something vs. actually do something about it.

regarding people, people actually tell you who they are almost instantly if you are paying attention. you will have a pretty good idea of who someone is after a couple hangouts as their true selves will pop out here and there. you will even know how they feel about you romantically of platonically. if you look at how they dress, how they talk and what they talk about you can get a pretty good idea of who they actually are. you can even tell if a girl likes you, but people refuse to pay attention to what's infront of them and more on the idea of who that person actually is. hiding genuine attraction is super fucking hard.

people don't change and if they do, like changing anything about a person its a very slow and difficult process that will have many regressions. you can know someone is an asshole, but you dismiss this fact and focus on their small kindnesses. it is easier to continue being cool with them rather than dealing with the dread of cutting them off. so many people will get cheated on, betrayed, or be in shitty situations and ask "how could i have not seen this?" you did. you knew the entire time, but you just decided to ignore it. knowing something is useless if you never actually put it into practice. doing something about anything is a bullshit, annoying, hard fucking process.
