kohl vs eyeliner

I want to try out a bit of makeup because it looks cool, and I'm starting to think guyliner would look good (and maybe even help fraud my pfl).
Up until now, I only know about eyeliner and kohl, and I'm wondering which lasts longer and looks best without making me look gay or giving off a 'burnt' look.

Does anyone have product recommendations and tips on how to apply it subtly?
possibly hypothetically maybe @valentine ?

i dont wear it but it does look cool, a more smoky blended look looks better on men, not a fan of how it looks applied just to the waterline because it makes your eyes look smaller

I use a pen eyeliner, doesn’t look gay and a get compliments about it a lot
It last one day
I use it also on my eyebrows to make it darker

tbh do as you want both are good but if you buy eyeliner make sure its a pencil and the ingredients are good you will be all set

I never thought of it like that. I'm mostly aiming for a 'fox-eye' look, as I feel like blending it too much would make me look like I've been through hell although I would still like to go a little beyond the waterline and extend my canthus. Contrary to the rest of my appearance, the eyes are the only part of my face I want to keep neat (I'm sure there's one tutorial amongst thousands I'll find helpful)

Kohl is softer, more smudgy, and usually gives a more natural, subtle look it’s more like a shadow around the eyes rather than a sharp line. It’s easier to blend and looks less "try-hard" if you’re going for that hollow, deep eye vibe. Eyeliner is sharper, more precise, and gives a cleaner, more defined line. It can look more feminine or obvious if not done right, but it pops more in photos.

yes, with the pink eyeshadow is really cool but its not a look you would wear irl if you wanna appear normal

Le changement de langue c’est pour tuer . En vrai, j’hésite vraiment. Genre, le kohl, ça a l’air incroyable, mais je ne pense pas que j’arriverais à l’appliquer de manière à ce que ça ne souffle pas partout. Par contre l’eyeliner en vrai, c’est tellement pas naturel; je ne l’utiliserais que pour la précision et encore.

(Si tu peux m'envoyer une photo de ce à quoi ça ressemble sur toi, ça serait super bien, ngl. J’ai vraiment besoin d’un exemple )
