1. Insulin is not the enemy. Keeping insulin high implies an adequate supply of glycogen to the liver and brain. Glucose is the body's preferred source of fuel. Glycolysis is heavily preferred in complex organisms rather than ketosis. ATP production and NAD/NADH ratio is higher in glycolysis implying a more suitable form of fuel. Sugar is thus not the enemy. Diabetics recovered after they were fed an ample amount of sugar that they lost during urine because the liver could not process it anymore. Diabetics are at an advanced stage of hypoglecemia
2. Calories in calories out is overrated. It is still the physical explanation for fat loss but is irrelevant when considered as a whole. Calories out part of the equation is neglected by many. Some foods are better at increasing calories out even when eaten at the same proportion. Sugar(sucrose) has been shown to increase metabolic rate by 40 percent. Thermogenesis from protein is overrated (but still good to maiitain a high proportion of protein during leanmax to conserve muscle mass)
Remember Ramirez grew up on candy and his metabolism was extremely high. Doesnt mean you should gorge on sugar ,just no reason to avoid it. But it can get out of hand easily so track it well
3. Weight training once a week is probably the most efficient. One day per week is enough to conserve your muscle mass especially on a hypocaloric diet. More is not better
4. Increasing cortisol and adrenal fatigue with keto/ carnivore is not a good idea. You will most certainly lose weight but you will have no mental energy/bad sleep and a host of other side effects. Glucose is extremely important especially during times of food restriction. Too high protein consumption results in high cortisol levels and elevated catacholamines liberating FFA into the bloodstream which being PUFA( lipophilic) undergo lipid peroxidation and increase prostaglandins / stimulate liver to promote estrogen which will create a bad feedback loop of fat synthesis and fat liberation(not as good as it sounds)
5. Aspirin can be a healthy tool to incorporate. By decreasing FFA content it stimulates higher CO2 production and makes the cell require less oxygen( mimicking the physiology of peoples at high altitudes whose death rate from COVID for eg was much less then people who live in the plains) . Decreasing FFA thus also increases metabolism and respiration. Coffee and asprin was a staple in the 1960s where everyone was lean (you can hear a lady ask for her aspriin in Rocco and his brothers- one of Delon's first movies)
6. Cigarettes and coffee were also something people used to consume widely until anti-tobacco propaganda. Smokers are now treated as worse than scum although the origins of this hate stemmed from feminist propaganda dating as far back as before the world wars. Smoking statistics show that even in women whose lungs arent as efficient in processing irritatns mortality risk only increased 3 percent if they quit at 30 even though they started at 15 and smoked a pack till 30. https://www.sott.net/article/229156...the-Data-in-the-Fascists-Anti-Smoking-Crusade
I suggest taking food before smoking or coffee to prevent symptoms of hypoglecemia
7. Reducing cortisol and stress: Cortisol has the special property of skipping the adrenal pituitary axis and straight away signalling stress to the brain. Taking ashwagandha , progesterone or magnesium glycinate in high doses will help alleviate the symptos of stress which also can signal hunger and interfere with daily tasks
8. Calcium and thyroid supplementation are the best ways to increase your calories out equation. Low amounts of calcium signal the cell to hold interceullar calcium and water is sucked into the cell. Because ATP reaction is in Le Chatelier's equilibrium , higher amounts of water in the cell counteract ATP production leading to an overall lower metabolism. Thyroid governs the entire cellular respiration and metabolism process so supplement t4:t3 in the ratio of 3:1 can be good if you have a lot of fat to lose.
9. Reducing serotonin: Reducing it will naturally make you more active since its a neurotransmitter of hibernation. Anti serotonin drugs have induced hypersexuality in animals, mainly becuase serotonin is elevated in times of questionable survival.SSRIs can induce libido loss and suicidal behaviours. SSRIs increase risk of suicide and serotonin increases learned helplessness. Bears eat PUFAs in the form of nuts etc beforfe going into torpor state. Avoid PUFAs and consider anti serotonin drugs like cyproheptadine.
Glucose and sucrose for diabetes.
Diabetes was named for the excessive urination it causes, and for the sugar in the urine. It was called the sugar disease, and physicians were taught that sugar was the problem. Patients were ordered to avoid sweet foods, and in hospitals they were sometimes locked up to keep them from finding...

Oxidative metabolism: glucose versus ketones - PubMed
The coupling of upstream oxidative processes (glycolysis, beta-oxidation, CAC turnover) to mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) under the driving conditions of energy demand by the cell results in the liberation of free energy as ATP. Perturbations in glycolytic CAC or OXPHOS can...

Effects of sucrose on resting metabolic rate, nitrogen balance, leucine turnover and oxidation during weight loss with low calorie diets - PubMed
Our research has shown that 800 kcal/day sucrose diets, unlike pure protein diets, maintained resting metabolic rate (RMR) and triiodothyronine (T3) levels. Concern that thermogenesis from sucrose might reflect protein catabolism led to this study, in which 23 obese women were studied as...

Meal stimulation of cortisol secretion: a protein induced effect - PubMed
Cortisol and ACTH secretion was studied in 52 healthy subjects who were fasted of fed various diets: standard, high fat, high carbohydrate, high protein. Subjects fed high protein diet (4 gm/kg body weight) showed significant increases in cortisol both at 30 and 60 min after the 1200 hr meal and...
