Think about it. Nearly every chad face model has a shit frame with 0 fat and 0 muscle even when growing up.

Early humans would store fat during autumn to keep warm and have energy during winter, the body would aim for longevity instead of growth (growing takes energy) during these periods.

Based on this, my theory is that when the body is lean it incentives bone growth due the fact that the body thinks:
bulking = winter is coming, store fat and save as much energy as possible.

Of course this doesnt apply when you are a skinny twig with 1% bf, but bf% between 8-12 would signal to the body:
we are lean that must mean winter is gone and now we are going to grow more”
(The body will now grow since it doesnt need to save energy)

and of course this doesn’t mean the leaner the better because if you are too lean, the body will start to break down bone density and muscle so that you can have more energy.

This theory doesn’t apply to muscle so gymcels stfu.

ur theory sucks

Abysmal read; bone growth is correlated with hGH, IGF-1, low Estrogen, more Testosterone, high FSH and LH levels, Ghrelin and GnRH.

Ghrelin is hunger hormone, and you increase it by consuming MORE food; when you eat more food, your body starts to become dependent on it which increases ghrelin throughout the day to accommodate for this dependency. Fasting also increases ghrelin because your stomach is empty, and if you were eating a lot of food during the day, your body starts to secrete more ghrelin to signal eating time.

"Ghrelin levels tend to rise before meals and decrease after meals, suggesting that ghrelin prompts meal initiation. Ghrelin induces short-term feeding and long-term body-weight increase In fact, elevated ghrelin levels have been implicated in Prader–Willi syndrome (a genetic condition characterized by excessive appetite and obesity;)" (C.E. Adams et al. 2011)

When you consume maintenance calories, hunger is triggered only when there's a calorie deficit (meal initiation). For instance, if your maintenance is 2000 calories and you fall short on calories, ghrelin increases to prompt eating. To elevate ghrelin production, adapting to 3000 calories can lead your body to signal hunger since it's adjusted to this intake level. You want to increase meal initiation, which can only be increased if you're eating more meals. If you're eating breakfast at 9:00, lunch at 12:00, dinner at 18:00, then your body will not get hungry between these hours if it's adjusted to this routine. However, if you start bulking, you'll have to eat a LARGE breakfast at 9:00, then snacks at 10:00, 11:00, then a large lunch at 12:00, then more snacks from 13:00 to 16:00, then a large dinner, then more snacks until 20:00. When you eat breakfast, your ghrelin will increase at around 10:00 and 11:00 because your body has become dependent on those calorie dense snacks.

Why Ghrelin? Because the secretion of Ghrelin secretes human growth hormone (hGH):
"Ghrelin is a type of growth hormone (GH) secretagogue that stimulates the release of GH." (Khatib et al. 2017)

I don't have to explain why hGH is extremely important when it comes to bone growth, but what is not talked about is GnRH, LH and FSH:
"Hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) stimulates secretion of pituitary luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which directly regulate ovarian function. Pituitary FSH can modulate osteoclast development, and thereby influence bone turnover." (Fowler et al. 2010)

To increase GnRH, you need Kisspeptin:
"Kisspeptin acts at the level of the hypothalamus, which stimulates GnRH secretion. In recent studies, it is also shown that kisspeptin can also bind to Pituitary cells to cause an increase in LH release." (Christian et al. 2023)

You increase this with a high-protein, high-fat diet, as well as consuming zinc.

With regards to LH and FSH, you increase this naturally by increasing your testosterone intake

With regards to testosterone and hGH, it's shown in various studies that testosterone increases hGH.

IGF-1 is increased with high protein

Low estrogen ensures growth plates do not close earlier.

i thought similarly since people that are fat tend to not grow as much and the periods were growth is max isnt when we are at 18 plus %

also fat n estrogen n closed plates

Not at all. More you eat more bone muscle fat mass you have
Suprisingly 180cm 100kg guy has bigger bone mass than 180cm 60kg guy

Bone mass values in normal weight and overweight obese subjects

Eating more will increase mainly fat, some muscles but also a bit bones. You just dont see it because its covered by fat
