You cannot suffer the past or future because they do not exist; what you are suffering is your memory and imagination.

not a single philosophy can solve whats natural

if you brain chemistry is fucked, you will be depressed and philosophy could help
some people are just closer to stoicism as a way of life BY NATURE, yet some arent

good post tho

I feel as though this is a pessimistic, fatalistic worldview of thinking in the sense that you aren't willing to at least try to overcome a problem or mental issues you believe you have, you wouldn't think this way if it wasn't for the media and the people around you, Brain chemistry isn't a under lying erriversible issue per say unless you are born with a mental issue, down syndrome etc, any type of neurological disadvantage. also "some people are just closer to stoicism as a way of life BY NATURE, yet some arent" You'd truly be surpised 85% of people don't even know what the term "stoic" even means, let alone live it as a way of life. in conclusion, i belive you can overcome anything with enough time, critical thinking effort, and passonite means as to what you want.

there are essentially three layers to this game

1. philosophical
2. physhological
3. neurobiological

while philosophy only operates on layer 1 most of the time, occasionally spills on layer 2;

things like actual depression; not weakness and lack of dicipline - operates on layer 3. that places it outside of philosophy's reach.

if the last sentence was true, depression would not exist in highly intelligent, motivated/disciplined people,
YET it does.

what I am telling you is that philosophy cant overcome "everything" like you said. philosophy is a powerful coping method sometimes, but your worldview could never change your long term state if its really serious
