You're asking if you need DJS vs UJS. It really depends on your case. But most downward growth cells probably need DJS aka bimax

How come slightly? It can be reduced Up to 5mm which is pretty decent, im saying this because I have a long skull and long midface with long philtrum and slight gummy smile, and Im thinking of a lf1 +lip lift.
Is It okay?

It depends how much you rotate your maxilla and also depends how much your lip will be lifted but generally, it will reduce your midface height a good amount

I just need a 6mm less of midface length tbh but I dont wanna do just a lip lift because It might make my slight gummy smile even worse if that makes sense and I dont wanna reduce more than 4mm as It Will end Up probably gay looking so I prefer fixing firstly the underlying problem
