How long does swelling from lefort 1 Downgrafting (no advancements) last? And how does it affect nose size?
I’ve heard nose can get permanently wider after lefort 1 my nose is already very wide and i dont want to get rhino later

Nose will only widen if an expansion is done
So called segmental lefort which can be 2,3,5 piece
Expansion if it’s segmental lf1 during js or a progressive expansion with marpe,sarpe,fme etc. will always widen the nose.
If you’re not narrow then you don’t need it.

It’s better to expand and have a slighty wider nose which can be corrected later on than not doing anything and staying narrow.

We see significant improvement in the support of the nose after counter clockwise rotation of the maxilla.

There are few people with maxillary deficiencies. In my case my maxilla itself is not short vertically but the alveolar process is short which causes me to have lack of upper teeth show, lefort 1 targets that area specifically

Yeah thats right.
I didn’t consult with surgeon yet as i have no money but my father is going to buy me a car when i get my drivers license and i can use that money for surgery. Id need about 10k$ its not that much

lasts a long time way longer than what surgeons tell you
