Lefort 1

Went to a local OMFS and apparently insurance approved a Lefort 1 even though I don't have sleep apnea or any dental flaws. IDK if the surgeon is trying to milk the insurance for money. But initially went to tell the surgeon that I was concerned about my buccal corridors and wanted a wider smile through MSE.

The scans I have are normal, there aren't any functional or physical problems. I wanted to get 3D scans, which I have a CD from today.

So it would be a 3 piece lefort 1? Just making sure we are on the same page, as I believe that is the only way a lefort 1 will widen your palate

That's what I'm trying to ask you guys, this guy isn't blackpilled. I'm not at a functional disadvantage. I look normal. Hell they were like why are you getting the surgery anyway. I was like I want a wider smile and didn't mention a bimax or widening of my maxilla because I didn't want to come off as a lookmaxxing insurance frauder. However, they didn't even give the insurance these x-rays and went word of mouth by doc. Like the scans I have are normal.

I want to call him and get an assessment of how much I should ask for advancement. But am here for advice of what to ask for. I can pm pics.
