It was in fact racially heterogeneous for a long time and included Celts, Semites, North Africans, Iberians, etc. It fell due to inflation by deficit spending, virtue decay and hypergamy, waging unwinnable wars and outsourcing them to mercenaries, the rise of Catholicism — aka multiculturalism.

China may nominally “be around” today but the current iteration is just one in a line of vastly different societies. The closest thing to dynastic China lives on in Taiwan. The PRC meanwhile is just a bunch of street-spitting Mongolian brutes. They share little DNA with the true heirs to Tang, Song, Ming civilization.

Im not talking about the empire. There was never a "Roman race" therefore it no longer exists. Maybe if there was there would still be "Romans" today.
