I'll be using FST data from this study
www.nature.com
FST can vary by study, but it should be worth noting that the claim that Levantines are closer to Southern Italians than to Arabian is a fact and has been consistently shown in multiple studies. The Italian populations are from Abruzzo and Sicily and the Levantine populations will be Cypriots, Lebanese, Jordanians, Syrians and Druze. The Arabian populations will be Yemenis and Saudis.
As a side note, Druze are a genetic isolate and Jordanians are largely indistinguishable from Palestinians; thus in absence of samples from Palestinians, we can use Jordanians as a proxy for them and vice versa.
So what do the results show?
Druze-Saudis FST: 0.014
Druze-Yemenis FST: 0.016
Druze-Abruzzese FST: 0.01
Druze-Sicilians FST: 0.009
Cypriots-Saudis FST: 0.009
Cypriots-Yemenis FST: 0.011
Cypriots-Abruzzese FST: 0.002
Cypriots-Sicilians FST: 0.001
Syrians-Saudis FST: 0.006
Syrians-Yemenis FST: 0.007
Syrians-Abruzzese FST: 0.005
Syrians-Sicilians FST: 0.004
Lebanese-Saudis FST: 0.008
Lebanese-Yemenis FST: 0.009
Lebanese-Abruzzese FST: 0.006
Lebanese-Sicilians FST: 0.005
Jordanians-Saudis FST: 0.005
Jordanians-Yemenis FST: 0.004
Jordanians-Abruzzese FST: 0.006
Jordanians-Sicilians FST: 0.004
Levant (combined)-Arabia (combined) FST: 0.0089
Levant (combined)-Southern Italy (combined) FST: 0.0052
Takeaways from this analysis:
Cypriots seem more Southeast European shifted. Studies on Cypriots yield conflicting results; usually they're either firmly within the core Levantine sphere or they're intermediate between Southeast Europeans and Levantines.
The Druze don't seem to be close to any particular population other than themselves. Most studies suggest they're a genetic isolate whereas other studies suggest they have affinities to other Levantines and various West Asian groups.
Jordanians are actually closer to Arabians than to Southern Italians. The difference is negligible though. Jordanians seem more Arabian shifted.
Syrians are closer to Southern Italians than the Lebanese are in terms of numerical values but the latter are closer to Southern Italians in terms of DISTANCE from Arabians.
So what are the FST values between Northern/Western/Central Europeans and Southern Italians? We will see. A few things to note. Slovenia and France (sans Provence) won't be included in this comparison due to peculiarities. If YOU wish, YOU may add them in (doesn't actually change anything tbh). I won't. For obvious reasons (which still don't change anything) no Northern Caucasian populations will be used. A final note is that Orcadians are a genetic isolate so that also could skew results (although once again, nothing changes).

Northern/Central/Western/Eastern Europe-Southern Italy FST: 0.0092
That's an interesting result. Southern Italians are marginally more distant to Northern/Central/Western/Eastern Europeans than Levantines are to Arabians.
Either way, these results blow apart both white supremacy and pan-Arabism. I believe Mediterraneanist Levantines are owed an apology.

Genome-wide analysis of Corsican population reveals a close affinity with Northern and Central Italy - Scientific Reports
Despite being the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean basin, the genetic variation of Corsica has not been explored as exhaustively as Sardinia, which is situated only 11 km South. However, it is likely that the populations of the two islands shared, at least in part, similar demographic...
