I think there is some truth to it, but they don't tell the full picture, communists were many times jews as a way to destroy
the government who persecuted them, and used communism as a tool, rather then as their real ideology, but also not fully true since many times jews held key potions in their host nations
and helped them quite a lot (for example Albert Einstein and many jews during WW1)
