A bit of a long-ish story, but I need it to express my point.

In the august of 2023 I stayed at home with my grandma while my family was abroad.

6 months before that, my grandma offered to bring me with her for 10 days to the village where she grew up in.

Naturally I said yes bc I don't ever really plan for a week in advance, let alone 6 months.

However, when she woke me up at 6 am on august 15th, I was pissed as fuck. I was rotting on my computer till 4 am watching a movie.

Tl;dr: She forced me to dress up, pack my things and at around 8 am we entered a bus. A few hours later we arrived in the village.

Its a village that, at its peak, had 4k residents. It was a german village with beautiful architecture, but we unfortunately killed and MGTOWed them all to germany after WW2.

I just wanted to rot on my computer during the summer, but when I arrived there to her sister's house, I was amazed. I layed down and slept, and when I woke up at 3pm, they offered me to take a bike and ride around.

For the next 10 days I was riding that bike, listening to music, swimming in the village pool. I traveled to other villages 20km away, explored them and then returned in the night.

I can confidentely say, those were the happiest 10 days of my life. There were plans to go again this year, but my sister would've went as well so I purposely sabotaged it because I didn't want her to go with us

I live in a big city bro. At least its a quiet neighbourhood but like, my ideal life, if I had 10 mil dollars now, would be to:

1) at least try to ascend with surgeries

and

2) if that fails, simply move to a nice village in some corner of the country.

Depends on a village as well.

For instance, my country is split in a way. One side of it is much richer than the other.

The only difference being powers that ruled those regions and people that inhabited them. The region my grandma grew up in is rich, but I'd never move to most villages in my country simply bc this one is an outlier
