I don't even mean that you spend that much time working. I mean that your social value derives entirely from work. Only like 5% of young guys can drift by on looks. Outside of that, you're only supposed to care about work and raising your status. People are actively turned off by subchads and oldcels assuming you have any value without those things. You can get around this by looking as though you don't give a fuck -- then people assume your lack of value comes from not trying. But if you look in any way like you want validation, it's over. It's either work and just hang out with others through work or try to look like a psychopath who doesn't give a shit about anything.
