In my country there are many Asians who come to work, usually from the poorer countries: Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, etc... They usually stay like 40-50 guys in one apartment, they buy food together, etc. so they don't pay so much on rent and other stuff, this is practiced too in many other countries, so you might consider living with other people.

Well, you're gonna work anyway from morning to late night, you're only gonna go there to sleep and eat, and you're probably be too tired to care there are other people in the same room with you, if you want a room only for yourself, you will have to pay extra! A friend worked for a few months in UK and lived in the same house with some Pakistanis, he had his own room but common kitchen and toilet, he still complained it was expensive.
