Sorry, but lifestyle has no meaningful impact on health outcomes outside of excessive overindulgence. Obviously you shouldn't eat 10 donuts a day, and excessive alcohol and drug abuse can likewise fuck you, but other than that, it's almost entirely genetic. There's people out there with hypertension in their 20s, despite being young, fit, exercising, etc. The genetic factor is understated because of political correctness, and because it contradicts the meritocratic narrative.

Eating like shit is easily the number one factor. Your whole body is made up of whatever you put into it.

If you eat chips, donuts and 12 cans of coke daily then your brain, heart, lungs are all made of the shit from those foods.

Cool strawman. My OP made it clear that very extreme lifestyle (e.g. eating 4 liters of coke a day + smoking a pack) DOES harm your health, but that using such instances as an argument that lifestyle matters is bullshit because you're selectively using the most impulsive, greediest idiots as your case study.

Not trying to strawman but this lifestyle is incredibly common in the US and the obese people claim it’s genetics rather than their fat ass stuffing themselves with takeout 3 meals a day.

The USA is not a good metric of reference for anything. They literally allow fast food chains to open stores inside schools jfl. Meanwhile in the Nordic countries and other 'progressive' states there are strict rules against that.

But if I wasn't being specific enough, I'm defining 'excessive overindulgence' as basically not giving a fuck at all e.g. everyday is treated like it's the weekend with candy, soda, ice cream, beer, etc basically zero restraint. I don't disagree that this will fuck you, but once you exercise even just basic impulse control the law of diminishing returns kick in fast.

EDIT: I will also add that putting on some fat is actually normal as you get older since your metabolism/hormones change, hence all the 40ish something dudes with a potbelly.

Sarcasm or not?
Not being sarcastic it makes sense that the US is an outlier in your analysis. When you assume a regular diet as being the default like it is in most of the world, then it all boils down to your genetics.

I legit can't understand how Americans can think their eating habits are even remotely normal. I'm talking about shit like eating pancakes with bacon and syrup for breakfast :feelswhat:

Imagine starting your day eating literal pastry and cancer meat and then bitching about why you're at the verge of death at 48 for some reason :feelsgood:

Eating like shit doesnt matter. 99 percent of diet related health improvements are just from being in a deficit and staying lean. How do you think these carnivore fags and vegans both improve blood markers? Also don't refute what I said with that supersize me documentary where he was an alcoholic.

Lifestyle does have an effect tho lol. Ive been monitoring my health since starting PEDS. Even on trt dose (which doesnt increase my blood pressure compared to when natty a couple of cardio sessions a week (especially HIIT lower my bp). I feel like most of you have never actually monitored your vital signs and organs closely because you havent had a need to.

Even doing fasted cardio every morning along with occasional 3 days fasts would be beneficial to most people because fatty liver is a huge problem in the western world.

Your body holds more visceral fat and less subcutaneous fat as you age so it becomes more important then. Wait untill you are in your 30s and your arteries start to stiffen (everybodys do) and you start to gain more visceral fat around your liver. You will see lifestyle matters.

The metabolism doesnt change untill way older. The problem with age is your body holds more of the fat as visceral fat and not subcutaeneous fat (which is why dumb bbers think they gain muscle maturity with age, the body just holds less subcutaneous fat so they have more definition).

@Petsmart Seeing as we're on the topic of America bashing, this reddit is hilarious: https://www.reddit.com/r/AmericaBad/

It's basically a bunch of retard Americans mocking America hate on the internet but most of the examples they cite are actually just true (e.g. usually forum screenshots of somebody shitting over some legit problem the USA has). Zero self-awareness.
