what do you guys think? On one side of the argument, everyone says lifting doesn't stunt growth, and on the other side, it does. Tons of doctors say it doesn't, and tons of doctors say it does. So what are your guys personal's experiences or opinion on this?

ANSWER:

Squatting heavy and deadlifting Heavy stunts growth, jsut do isolations for legs.

They compress your spine, and unlike what bodybuilders say, that the compression js temporary according to the laws of physics, tensity is consistent thru out time

muh tons of doctors, their opinion doesn't matter if they don't provide any arguments.

The original concern with lifting stunting growth was that heavy lifts fuck up your growth plates which was proven to be false if you don't injure yourself like a moron.

building muscle requires igf-1, the factor that causes growth throughout your body including height growth. So one could conclude that it does because less igf-1 will go towards your bones if it has to repair your muscles

Additionally the fibers of the quads run vertically along the femur, the stronger the muscle is the more force it exerts even while relaxed. That is, the quad muscle will be pulling the growth plates in the direction opposite to the direction they expand (grow). It might be similiar to putting a weight on a small growing tree, perhaps it wouldn't grow as well.

Additionally if you bulk too much you will increase your estrogen potentially closing the growth plates faster. Also injecting T will increase e2 due to aromatization so never roid.

but having lean muscle is beneficial and your teen years are the most important ones so i wouldn't stress it too much, the ideal scenario is: inject HGH, go easy on leg days and just train them with machines, get loads of protein (good for height and muscle), and stay between 12-15% bf. But i didn't research it too much so could be wrong

Increase growth increase hgh

It won’t stunt growth if you have good form on exercises that are dangerous if you have to heavy weight or shit form (deadlifts, squats, etc)

No thats 100% not it

Pure genetics

Igf-1 is very closely correlated with height if we look at kids in puberty

But it's levels are genetic unless you inject hgh so in that sense it's genetic

tensity is released from sleeping, youre just speeding up the compression you get daily
