Lighting is extremely important for pictures and videos. A few over head lights can be the difference between u looking like a chiseled Greek God or a bloated potatoe. That's not even an exaggeration. Even gigachads like cavill, Pitt look mediocre in degenerate Lighting

Yes, that's why I always take photos in my bathroom, which has perfect lighting from above. If I take photos in my room with the light it has, I come out like an orc from Mordor.

Lighting is very important. That dude Damien Kater or w/e his name is always uses a ring light in his videos for that exact reason. Give him that bright ring reflection in his eyes.
