Procedure Overview

I've done two Lipolab sessions, using a total of 10ml on my face. The areas I treated include:

  • Submental region (double chin area)
  • Ramus (jawline angle)
  • Cheeks

How I Did It

(This is not medical advice, just sharing my personal method.)

Planning the injection sites:
I marked every spot I wanted to inject using a pen/marker, keeping about 1 cm of space between each point.
I did this symmetrically on both sides of the face.

Injection method:
  • I filled up an insulin syringe with Lipo.
  • Then I pinched the skin and injected at a 45° angle.
  • The product went into the subcutaneous layer, not intramuscular or the dermis.

Results Timeline

  • I experienced some bloating for 1 week, but it wasn’t severe.
  • Visible changes appeared within 2 weeks post-injection.
  • Skin tightened a bit, and the face looked leaner and more defined.

Before & After

  • Before:

  • After (2 weeks post-procedure):
    563FDB5C 1C78 4277 A206 9ED5E49BB0F6
    1747839414506
Tried to have somewhat similar angles

I can assure you it has dramastically change my ogee curve. I went from non existent to somewhat having hollow cheeks

Everyone says it hurts like a bitch :lul:
It didn’t hurt at all. Like a slight pinch is what I would describe it, but I wasn’t focusing on the pain so I didn’t feel anything

Idk about the nasioabial folds tho, but subq 0 pain

How did you gauge whether it has entered subq or not ?

You can tell the moment the initial stinging pain of stabbing into your skin fades out. There's minimal pain in the subq layer.

Anyway, I shouldn't be recommending this here tbh cuz I know a dude who got permanent paralysis on one side of his face from injecting into a nerve.

If I use 5mm perpendicularly whats the risk of hitting a nerve ?

0 chance of hitting the nerve if you pinch the skin, dont go perpendicularly as said. Go 45 degrees to 60 max with 5mm will be enough

If youre going to opt for injecting the entire needle at a 90 degree angle instead of 45, then I recommend using the 5mm one.

The risk of hitting a nerve is still the same tbh. Just using a 5mm at 90 degrees every time just allows u to be consistent with every injection and makes it so u inject into the subq every time.

Just know that facial nerves do exist in the subq and while u can use an anatomical model to help map them out and avoid it, that in itself is largely inaccurate as everyone's facial nerves have some deviance in location.

Just weight it out whether u think the fat loss is worth risking things like nerve paralysis or blindness (idk anyone irl who got blindness from it tho).

the initial part of pinning the nasolabial is disgustingly painful

Yeah I think thats true. Good to know that other opinions exist because I havent seen a negative one till now.

yes good but I'd rather pinch the skin to avoid nerve damage and then pin

I thought that you were doing DIY fat grafting lmfao

No asymmetrical results?
How expensive was it?

Massive respect btw
No asymmetrical results and it was 50 euros but I bought more needles than needed and others type of needles for other "stuff" :lul:

Ya anyone reading this and trying it out should still pinch their skin. That won't avoid the nerves in the subq layer, but will help avoid the ones below the subq layer.

Also, difficult to inject it with smaller gauge needles if u don't hold your skin somehow.

did u inject from inside mouth?
no I didnt inject from inside the mouth, you would probably do that for buccal fat but dont recommend + I still got insane result by just doing it on cheeks

Its even better, as it destroys fat cells. Which mean it reduces the amount of fat you can gain in face. So yes the results are permanent. Technically if you dissolve all your face fat you would hardly gain fat on the face ( you still can by creating new fat cells but that takes way more time )
