While you have the obvious ones making fun of the guys going through LL, even calling it unethical and creepy. You had some who sympathized or understood why someone would go through with a procedure like this.

To me it is more so to do with long term effects. I’d of course do it if I knew I may not be crippled early then I’d like. Height is important and I’d love to be like 6’2 without shoes or something but 5’10.5 without shoes isn’t the biggest deal in life. If I can find someone way shorter. But who knows
