Happiness comes from the inside. Accept your past, have faith in your future and most importantly: enjoy the present.

Everything else is just self-hatred. If you can't be happy right now in your current state, there's 0 reason to believe it will somehow be different when you wake-up as millionaire-chad.

He doesn't say that everyone can be happy jfl, he says IT'S THE ONLY WAY to be happy. Obviously if your life is extremely shitty chances are you're not going to be ok with yourself.

Happy people can be happy due to external factors, a strong internal mind, or a combination.

But unhappy people will always lack the happy internal mind. It's a baseline happiness that gets you through everything. The external factors are often outside of your control, the inner workings of your brain aren't.
