THEORETICAL. Not intended for human use
Followup on: https://looksmax.org/threads/literal-heightpills.1488781/
Anecdotal testimony: https://looksmax.org/threads/grew-2-inches-on-ky19382.1222091/
PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED: Universal downstream inhibition of FGFR Fibroblast growth factor pathway in order to allow for more longitudinal bone growth. ((using pills))
Pros: Can theoretically yield height increase in people with open growth plates
Cons: Universal FGFR downstream inhibition. FGFR connected to things like endocrine system, eyes (((theoretical blindness))) soft tissue and hair. Longterm use could theoretically cause abnormal growth in these areas
Wnt/β-catenin pathway
Regulates hair growth, bone growth, soft tissue (and smooth muscle I think) growth. So basically same thing as FGFR pathway but more significant for bones
upregulated >>>> high bone mass
downregulated >>>> low bone mass
WNT upregulation drives chondrocyte formation. When growth plates are open, chondrocyte's stack on top of each other, then ossify turning into solid bone, which is how you grow taller.
KY19382 is a molecule that upregulates the WNT pathway.
Bunch of studies I cant be assed to source so ill give you TLDR. Significant increase in length of bones in mice (something like 37%), and general increase in size, also delay of growth plate senescence. (nerdspeak for growth plates closing.)
The guy in anectodal thread that claims to have used it probably pinned research grade subcutaneously @ .25mg which is a massive underdose relative to the 1mg/kg cited in mouse studies.
KY19382 Is now available because people figured out it makes your hair grow. China has started selling the raw powder for topical application. Note; The guy in anecdotal thread said he literally needs to cut his lower eyelashes with scissors because they are so long due to WNT pathway being stimulated.
But because KY is a molecule, and NOT a peptide, It is orally bioavailable. Meaning you can just eat it. Assuming 30% bioavailability (there are no studies on people orally ingesting it,) It would be around .80mg ED on an empty stomach matching the .25mg dose. If you were to inject the raw powder intended for topical use subcutaneously, you will be rolling dice (more than you already are.) Raw powders aren't intended for injection as injection bypasses all sorts of the body's defense mechanisms. EATING IT, however, provides an extra layer of defense.
mix would be something like 40-50% PEG 400 and rest water or bac water. Because KY is non water soluble, you need to dissolve it in PEG400 before mixing it with water.
Boil water on very very low heat, add beaker with PEG + KY, stir until it (mostly) dissolves. Slowly add water. Store in the fridge in dropper. Mine is something like .50-.60mg for every 0.5mL. Pic related (((in minecraft))))
Unintentional experimental oral minoxidil alternative. People typically avoid oral minox because of the bloat. Using a research chemical for hair growth is obv the worst choice between the two but still viable.
DOWNSIDES: Longterm activation of WNT pathway is strongly linked with CANCER. Overactivation closes growth plates and theoretically can cause abnormal growth.
It should be noted that cancer via KY19382 hasn't been observed in animal studies. This is probably because the studies were short term and chronic WNT activation is what contributes to cancer. Maybe something like a month on, 2 weeks off, idk. Cycle it.
Also wound healing, so experimental plausible use in a recovery stack for reducing muscle fatigue between workouts.
I think KY has remained a research chemical because 1.) Theres no need for a "one size fits all' (relating to bone density, hair growth, and muscle repair) in the healthcare landscape. It is much better to have specific drugs that do 1 specific thing. and 2.) Chronic stimulation of the WNT pathway being linked to cancer. There are no human studies, there is no information on how orally bioavailable it is, there is no information on the half life, systemic efficacy, letalone side effects. You are in guinea pig territory.
Safer alternatives for WNT upregulation is Lithium orotate which is a supplement. Delivers 1mg of elemental lithium per 5mg. very insignificant increase
Stronger than Orotate: Medical dose lithium carbonate. Mood flattener, used to treat people in mental hospital.
