Just returned to my parents house after taking a few days off work. I feel so much happier. Browsing org less, actually speaking to people.

My mother, brother and my 30 year old virgin sister are holed up in their rooms. We are all rotters together. It feels normal.

Why is 'moving out' such an imperative in western world? I can understand if you have a gf, but moving out anywhere by yourself in the 21st century is a

Even for uni or with friends, you'll never have that same connection as with family. In the former situation you are all using each other for instrumental means and they will move on when they are in a relationship.

I only moved out because I would otherwise be NEET poorcel in some random town in the middle of nowhere, since I decided to study a non-STEM degree and couldn't find a job anywhere except the city.

I feel more at peace without housemates, but living it your family is chill, although they can be annoying
