There is more to the equation than just climate and vitamin D3 absorption.

Some hot climate locations like central Africa have very high testosterone males resulting from thousands of years of tribal warfare.
Creating a Fisherian runaway where males get more upper body strength and body height each generation.

Then you have very hot climate peasant societies spanning back 3000 years like Malaysia or Vietnam where males are still very fragile, small in stature and low testosterone. These societies only had very limited use for strong mesomorphs so they never proliferated in the gene pool.
