Living in the moment = living in each passing moment doing what you want with no hopeless future or trauma.
There is too much stuff in society that made it impossible. Laws, money, technology etc.. all the things that give mental illness and paranoia. When can you just have fun and be happy without thinking about consequence of not going back to turning the cog in the system eventually and having to do things you dont want
even you become a neet you are still restricted, especially if you never leave your house because nothing in your life changes and you become crazy from isolation. And the past haunts you too. being recorded in your darkest moments, everyone always has to take a picture and hang it up on the wall. Little did they know you were being betrayed, bullied, tortured at that time and it shows on your face. thanks for the reminder
