You need to find out what one ring is equal to based on the first two. The first two left and rights are equal.

Did you make sim eqs for them ?

I think that’s the only way. So for the first one, I guess a cube is equal to two diamonds for it to make sense

what i remember from high school

Ok I was right
5 = 2(3) - 1
5 = 6 - 1
5 = 5

5 = (3(3) + 1)/2
5 = 10/2
5 = 5

w8 so is it 2 diamonds 1 cube or 1 diamond 1 cube

in 2nd comparison i replaced the 2 cubes with 1 circle 1 diamond
2 circles cancel out so ure left with 1 circle = 2 dia 1 cube

2 diamonds 1 cube I think. It also works with the maths above

I cancelled out 1 diamond as well but it didn’t work then if you assigned numbers to the shapes.

3c + b = 2a + d
C = (2a + d - b)/3

Or

2c + d + b = 2a + 2b
C = (2a - b - d)/2

It doesn’t say anything about shapes cancelling out or having a negative value. These stupid questions are pissing me off now. Can’t they be clearer ?
