London Hinge matches but no likes

Curious to hear other's experiences.

I would say I am mtn/low htn and have a decent hinge profile. I do get matches with decent looking women, however I never get likes first, maybe 2 in a month if I'm lucky and with people I would never date.

Other friends who are similar looks levels still get 20+ likes over a few weeks and so I am not sure why I get none. I don't think I'm shadowbanned as I still get matches and have hinge+

Is this to be expected? Literally had 0 likes in the last 3 weeks as of now.

Maybe your friends are paying for greater visibility and photos are worse.

It's easy to forget how super competitive OLD is.
I took a couple of shitty stock photos of an average looking woman with no bio in a big city and got 200+ likes in an hour.
They can afford to be much more picky.

I’ve seen their profiles and I would say we have similar level of nt pics.

The only other thing I can think of is that when I first made my profile my pics weren’t great. So is it possible that I’ve been sent far down into the stack where my profile just isn’t visible to others?

Or maybe I just need to improve my profile even more, I just find it weird that I’ve seen very average profiles get a regular stream of likes, even if it is from other average or ltn people.

Because surely even with a decent profile I would get more likes (even if it’s from people I wouldn’t date)
