Assuming 185cm, broad shoulders and small waist, what would be more aesthetic, a longer torso with shorter legs or longer legs with a shorter torso?

I agree, my ex used glaze the fuck out of the my torso no bs. But i can’t escape having a slender look to my physique

torso length correlates more with shoulder width than height does.

there was no function for torso length so I used sitting height which is affected by it.

Long legs usually better. The only issues can come after having 37+ inseam size. So for heights under 190 long legs mog, for 190 cm+ it's very debatable. Becaz you will have quite wholesome troubles with little profit if there is any. 190+cms dudes already look giant without long legs, so having them will make you look 5-10 cms taller. So 190- cms longer legs. For 190+ cms balanced would be better.

Just for some reference, I'm interested in modelling and most male models have balanced bodies(thinking of 6'1-3 with 34 inseam). Then some rare have long torso, and almost nobody has long legs. Becaz at such height you dont need long legs to look tall.

Also there are other important things which length will affect your looks: neck, head sizes(lengths and widths), possible rise length(from inseam to hip bones), arm(sleeve) lengths.
