Is there anything one can actually do for a long midface? at all?

like does mlf3 or ccw do anything to shorten midface? any other procedures? can anything camouflage it eg implants??
 
but mouth area only. If your nose and upper maxilla long there is no fix

so like chin implant or jaw implants to strengthen the lower third could make the midface more proportional? does this actually make it look any better?

if you have vertical maxillary excess (gummy smile) and a long philtrum some improvements can probably be made. not sure how significant the changes will be though

nah no gummy smile. philtrum fairly long but im gonna get a lip lift (because my lips are fucked not cuz of philtrum). would that my philtrum at all?

ngl literally all of his features are disgusting. could be the ugliest man who isnt actually deformed. thats di maria right? i actually cant tell 100% if its him just cuz ive suddenly realised about and am fixated by his immense ugliness

Q: Dr. Eppley, Is it possible to shorten the midface? Is there a surgery for midface shortening? If so how much can be done? I don’t have a gummy smile, just a long distance from my eyes to my mouth. I plan on getting jaw advancement to lengthen my lower face, but I still think the midface would be out of proportion. Would a rhinoplasty and lip lift help? I don’t have any pictures, but I hope you may give me a general idea as a plastic surgeon. I understand I would still have to see one in person eventually.

A: There is a midface shortening surgery that is based on vertically shortening the length of the maxilla. This is known as a Lefort 1 impaction procedure that is used in the gummy smile patient to treat vertical maxillary excess. This does not appear to apply to you. Other than this skeletally based procedure, only a camouflage approach may provide some benefit. Procedures such as a rhinoplasty and a lip lift can be of some benefit to create a midface shortening effect depending on the shape of the nose and the length of the pper lip.

Not really, but long midface is not a death sentence like niggas say here, in fact there's lot of GL guys with long midface, unless yours is horse tier you should be fine

hmm yeah. thanks bro. its pretty much my only real unresolvable death sentence failo which is gay but i guess i can cope with camouflages. not sure it would be a good idea to shorten the nose though ngl. guess 4 is probably the ceiling for me then?

err what do you think the psl ceiling is for long midface? i dont think my other features are that bad and theyre all pretty much resolvable, and i actually have a realistic plan to solve them
 
My avi has a long upper maxilla as well though. Just his features are very soft and eye spacing is 0,46

how is rooney so ugly with short nose, high fwhr, fairly masculine eye area, strong jaw, big chin and blue eyes?
 
Mse and facemask, with mini implants drilled into front of maxilla. This isn't certain and no one will do it for you tho
