I've seen some examples of long ramus resulting in a lot of posterior depth in the face but the anterior part of the face is very short as a result - like a flat occlusal plane and the mandible itself is very short almost as if the ramus length is "taking away" from the mandible length

i had someone asking me about a ramus lengthening surgery, do such surgeries even exist?

this is me 100% Very good tall ramus but a little recessed chin and jaw and face also s bit short

Depends on gonial angle I guess. You can have both a long ramus and a tall chin that gives you a tall skull instead of sfs

you do not have sfs, the main cause of this is a deepbite causing a small chin, deep chin fold & flat cheekbones
so if i get deep bite/type 1 overbite correction would this help fix those issues? or no. i dont really have a deep chin fold and my cheekbones arent fully flat
