You can’t get a longer ramus. And unless its terribly short it’s not a very major issue

At 16 I started focusing on posture, mewing, and nose breathing. Also began lifting daily and eating clean. Over the next few years the main facial change I noticed was longer ramus, wider jaw, lower gonial angle. So make sure you’re testosteronemaxxing and nose breathing with good tongue/head posture.

This is from 17 to 18 but years ago my ramus was even shorter, looking at 15-16yr old pics I can’t believe how much longer it got.

This is a bad quality pic but here’s my ramus/jaw at 16, one year prior to that “before” photo. Face clearly looks flatter and gonial angle/ramus are worse.

Still can clearly see it’s the exact same length just less definition. You can’t change your ramus in a significant way after like 10 or 12 years old

Yes you can lmao. Your genetics give your ramus a predetermined growth limit but if you aren’t practicing proper breathing habits and your hormones aren’t optimized, then fixing all of that can help you reach that growth limit before puberty ends.

Yes you can lmao. Your genetics give your ramus a predetermined growth limit but if you aren’t practicing proper breathing habits and your hormones aren’t optimized, then fixing all of that can help you reach that growth limit before puberty ends.

Your mandible reaches maturity at ~16, so there's a chance that you just developed slightly more before that. I doubt adopting proper breathing habits so late in life magically caused you to grow more.
Realistically, you look like you lost fat, so your hyoid isn't as low, and your jaw looks more defined.
Still a good improvement nonetheless but you can't really chalk it up to an actual increase in ramus length.
