Looking for help about my palate/dental surgery potentially?

Is my palate narrow? IVE been convinced I need a palate expander and I went to a Dentist recently as of not going to one for like 10 years and he wants to take the two teeth out do place, not exactly said it outright be he said in order to go through with braces/invisiling (Im the one who threw invisilign out there cuz I wnated to chew foods normally and I heard they were Js overall better idk if braces can recess you or not i havent looked into it to much, but my next scheduled appointment is the 19th and it’s a filling and a cleaning BUT we will be discussing more about what to do I just wanted to get some feedback from you smart guys cuz I don’t wanna get recessed
