One of the very first times I realized this was in 8th grade. This good looking kid named Chip would pick on this fat kid with a goofy haircut in passing in the halls. Like he'd say "what's happening, cupcake head??" and push him against the locker and his future chadlite friends would laugh and they'd walk off. The dork would look like a deer in the headlights any time Chip was close.

Well one day they got into it, idk how it even started. All I remember was Chip chasing the dork out into the middle of the football field and punched him in the back with a padlock that he used like it was brass knuckles. The dork was sobbing. People were laughing. And all the girls.

So they took Chip in to the principal's. But the school staff, who were friends of Chip's parents because Chip's dad was a big time donor to the school, all said that they felt he'd learned his lesson, even though no punishment was even given. And since all the girls liked him, they said he was probably just under pressure from school and that the other guy probably provoked him. Even this one teacher, a woman in her 20's told our biology class that nobody should feel mad at Chip.

Just crazy. Nuts even. Imagine where they are now. Chip last I heard is the president of a local marketing company and lives out in the west hills (the rich neighborhood, but that means nothing because I think he's in the house his parents and their parents inherited) and the other guy works at McDonald's.

Once the law is set it's set and it's set early.

Nice story. The parents having strong ties to the school and staff with donations and being friends played a major factor here.

Do you think all the girls and that woman cared about any of that?

He ran for class prez and scores of kids carried around signs that said "Take a trip with Chip!" and a thumbs up. Most of them were carried around by girls. His win was very controversial because the girl he ran against was top of her class and endorsed by the teachers,

The little girls are irrelevant because they didn't make the decision. The main contributing factor towards the final decision was the family being friends with the staff and contributing large sums of money. Did his looks play a small role? Maybe but we would need an example of a kid who's parents didn't have any friendship or money ties where the kid beat the shit out of another kid but because he was a chad there was 0 punishment. If you have a story like this then yes we can say without a doubt it was 100 percent due to his superior looks.

In this case there isn't enough evidence to say little Timmy was let off the hook due to his looks. All evidence supports the highest possible factors was the money and friendship ties.

Now the girls liking him and sheepole dudes following and enabling him to do this was probably due to his looks no doubt. After that though it was the family ties and money.

Again, this shows bias by the kids for his looks and his popularity/status but not from the board/staff. It doesn't surprise me one iota.
