So I conducted a survey. The average person irl should be 4psl, let's try to estimate how people on this forum stack up to an average group of guys.
Since truecel range is from 0 to 2.5, I will assign the average of those two values (1.25) to every person who chose to describe themselves as such
Melvin range is 2.5 to 3.5 psl, the average of that being 3psl, so I will assign 3 as the value for each person who chose to describe themselves as a Melvin
Tanner range is 3.5 to 4.5 psl, the average being 4
Brad range is 4.5 to 5.5 psl, the average being 5
Chad range is 5.5 to 6.5 psl, the average being 6
Gigachad range is 6.5 to 8.0 psl, the average being 7.25
Now let's do some maths and find the average psl of a looksmaxxer
(6*1.25 + 2*3 + 7*4 + 8*5 + 1*6 + 1*7.25) / 25
= 3.79
so, the average psl of a looksmax.me user is 3.79, which is slightly lower than the irl average of 4

You can't trust peoples self ratings.

So many times I've seen people rate themselves as 3 when they're actually 4-4.5

And so many times I've seen people say they're like a 5-5.5 when they're a 4.5 at most
