Of course for some of them it's over from the get go and I won't blame them for that, but in most peoples cases being lazy and self pitying is so much easier and more comfortable then trying, quite a lot of them could reach at least normal levels if they tried and it's obvious some of them have just been inside for too long with no perception of reality.
