Everyone hid behind avatars, most of them headshots of models, actors, or meme crops, there was a rule: you had to be a man. Women weren’t welcome, officially, Anyone admitting to being female was banned instantly. And because of that rule, there was always speculation about “secret women” blending in, disguised with some random male username and a safe profile picture.
One night, MorphoLogic, a #OffTopic poster who had been around for couple months, opened a new thread in #OffTopic:

MorphoLogic stared at the screen. He already knew this typa guy.
He typed fast.
Thus began the back and forth. It wasn’t anything intellectual just constant, petty, ego driven sparring.
Anytime MorphoLogic posted anywhere on the forum, the Derek Hale avi would pop up like clockwork, leaving a sarcastic jab. If MorphoLogic rated a jawline? The Derek Hale avi commented “shit rating.” If he shared an article about bone growth? “Bro science.”
It got tiring. After four days of this constant harassment, MorphoLogic hovered over the user profile and he was about to click Ignore. For the first time in a week, peace.
Until the private conversation came.
A red notification bubble appeared. 1 new conversation.
Sender: LycanLifts
Subject: hi
Message:
“i wanna ask you something”
MorphoLogic stared. He almost didn’t click. But curiosity ate him alive. He opened the chat.

LycanLifts: yeah i know i came off rude. been acting like a dick.
MorphoLogic: understatement lol. so why pm me?
LycanLifts: i wanna show u something. figured you’d rate her brutally since you hate me.
MorphoLogic leaned back in his chair. His immediate thought: bait. Maybe a troll image, maybe some indian guy shitting or some gay shit disguised in a video, Still… he typed.
MorphoLogic: lmao i was abt to ignore u but sure. send it.
Seconds ticked. Then a message box popped up with an attached image. He clicked.
A girl appeared on the screen. blonde hair spilling past her shoulders, pretty blue eyes, light catching on her almond–shaped eyes. Not the usual Instagram–filtered nonsense — this was a candid shot, unpolished,
MorphoLogic’s first reaction was a low whistle.
MorphoLogic: woah… no way bro. is that your crush or gf?
The typing bubble appeared. Then disappeared. Appeared again. Then vanished. Minutes passed. Finally
LycanLifts: me and her are in a talking stage rn lol
MorphoLogic chuckled. He cracked his knuckles and wrote back.
