Everyone young guy goes to the gym and attempts to have decent style and hair, that makes a massive difference. Good facial features and bone structure under high body fat can defintely reveal a Chad.

At the end of the day you are either born with the looks or not. The features you are born with is set in stone and there is very little you can change without surgery. Like the stock market the dating market has always been "Mostly" efficient.

Any new exploits or advantageous you have over other guys will only work for a short period of time before they go main stream.

An example of this is cold approach in the early 2000s. It was a niche thing that a small group of guys did, who would share tactics online. Then it went main stream, and guys would spam approach all day long everyday in cities. Women learned to ignore all guys that tried to talk to them in cities.

The same happened with night game. There were routines that were very powerful in L.A. in the early 2000s with women (Palm reading, The cube, Cold Reading, Magic Tricks), but they went main stream and women would call guys out on it, and they stopped being effective.

Really, every game technique and strategy went through the same process. They would get used, guys would spam approach with those lines or strategies, and they'd stop being effective.

After that, game adopted the "Freestyle" approach to not be called out on routines. So guys would spam approach every group of girls in clubs to "practice". Women adapted to being annoyed in bars and clubs when guys tried to talk to them.

When all of this stopped being effective. Looksmaxing was born, but in a mostly efficient market, no strategy lasts forever as it's adopted by other market participants.

And like the financial markets, or running a business, you an ONLY win long term with an asymmetric informational advantage. Meaning, you have to have strategies that no other men know. If even one other man knows, it's likely to spread, relatively quickly nullifying it's advantage. Any strategy makes good content, that content creators will capitalize on for views.

This begs the question: How does one gain an asymmetric information advantage in the digital age where all information is free?

The solution is greater amounts of cognitive computation into strategies that you believe other's aren't doing and will give you an asymmetric advantage. And then resisting the urge to share.

No easy feat.
