Especially if you are trying to cut below your natural bodyfat %. It's so hard for me to go below 18% bf. The only time I have any semblance of a jaw is at 16% bf but I only get to that bf% after weeks of OMAD. I've gone as low as 14% and felt low energy and weak all the time. My lifts suffered and I didn't feel good. Many people here advocate for single digit body fat but that's not really sustainable for many people

it's hard as fuck for me to gain weight, i simply don't have the budget to keep up with my appetite/caloric requirements. one thing i find is that if i am focused on something, doing a project, or playing an addicting game, i will lose weight rapidly because i will ignore eating. i once played some high iq simulation game for several days, playing till 2am then getting up around 6am to continue. throughout this i ate maybe only 2 or 3 meals only. i lost 10lbs and was noticeably more gaunt. so if you want to lose weight just distract your mind with a game kek

I have gone from 20% to now about 13% by simply stopping bulking and I feel good. My strength and muscles haven't decreased at all, increased even. I don't count calories or do any weird diets, just eat what feels right

Reducing useless carbs and eating more meat and veggies is op

It’s the saturated fat in the goyslop, cut that shit out entirely and then see what happens. Goyslop wouldn’t even make it halfway down my esophagus because I have the opposite problem, I can not gain mass and my body strongly resists any effort to. I’m permanently under ~12%, even got down to 125 lb at 6’2” a few years ago and was repeatedly hospitalized for it.

after weeks of OMAD
This is not sustainable though?

No point leaning down if you are only gonna feel like shit, ruin your health, worsen body-comp and then eventually gain it back

Stick to eating whole foods. No processed garbage. Despite what people say carbs like potatoes, beans, oats, and fruits are high satiety. Popcorn especially is good if you want eat alot on the lowest amount of cals.

it’s a mental battle when trying to lose weight

But the easiest way to lose weight is to just cut carbs and only eat a strict diet of protein/fats

It's quite easy for me to gain mass. Both muscle and fat but losing weight is hard af for me. I put on weight easily but have a hard time loosing it. I need to extremely disciplined to lose weight. I think it might be genetic because my dad has the same problem.
