I’ll keep it short and sweet, but the basic premise is im testing a theory that if i remove all stressors from my life, and the ones i can’t remove i learn to literally not give a shit about, my physique will progress more rapidly.

This means dropping out of school, rejecting every girl no matter what, do the bare minimum at work, and regulate dopamine by any means necessary. i’ve been maintaining this lifestyle for about 2 months now and i believe that my gym progress has already improved, admittedly mostly because of consistency, diet, and intensity going up aswell; but regardless the drop in cortisol i strongly believe has had a noticeable effect on top of other things.

Why am i so bent that this is a real thing that works? We all know why low cortisol has positive effects, but i think the majority of us 1. underestimate what GENUINE low cortisol can do for you 2. don’t understand what REALLY having low cortisol means. i see people thinking that getting a mood swing by an immediate stressor under control quickly is what maintaining low cortisol is, which it IS neccecary, but that’s like a 5th of the battle. if someone cuts you off while driving and you don’t react congrats you didn’t “spike your cortisol” but if you’re stressing about an exam for that entire week congrats you still have high cortisol retard.

anyways the bulk of why i believe it’s scientifically backed up is if we look at why Tren is so effective. running tren is popular largely because it allows you to shave off fat like crazy while still putting on weight quickly. why does tren do this? it shuts down your cortisol and limits your body from producing it.

i am financially FUCKED right now, and i literally do not give a shit at all because it’s simply not worth the risk of potentially stunting my gym progress over time. there is literally nothing in this world i actually am concerned or worried about, i don’t give a shit if i’m broke, i don’t give a shit if the girl im having over flakes on me, i don’t give a shit if my house catches on fire.

on top of larger stressors in my life i have taught myself to not react to immediate stressors aswell. i used to have anger issues i’ll admit it. i have scars on my hand because i would get so mad that i would scratch till i bleed, the worst was when my manager yelled at me for some bs and threatened to fire me in front of my coworkers, i got so mad i scratched till my arm was bleeding. if that same scenario were to happen right now though it would go in one ear and out the other as if he’s not even talking to me. why? because if the only thing in the world that matters to you is your gains then everything else becomes so irrelevant that you can’t even bring yourself to react.

and if anyone thinks im a retsrd gymcel for only being bent on gains you need to seriously reevaluate your priorities. if you think anything in this world matters more than being 180 lean then you don’t know what true happiness is. and if you’re thinking “why don’t you just hop on tren and you don’t have to worry about it, i probably will at some point. but i have committed so much to wiring my mind to eliminate all stress from my life that i want to actually run a full 12 month experiment on this theory before i just take the easier route and hop on gear.

i’ll lyk if this is all bs and im just ruining my life in vain around december. milk drinker out

True. Removing surrounding stressors from my life made my gym performance so much better

But I think you take that as an excuse to not get your life together. There is more life than the gym.

op, have you considered putting yourself in a medically induced coma? Technically your greatest cortisol spikes occur when you wake up every morning so therefore you could easily avoid much of your cortisol load by not waking up.

This is legit, I’ve only gone downhill since I started having to wageslave despite consistent routine.

I am utterly burned out at this point, my cortisol has been spiked for 2 years straight, I go from sleeping to working to bed rotting and even the few hours of gym I’m meant do is becoming impossible. I only spend 20 hours a week in the office as well - I bed rot with my laptop on my home working days.

Absolutely nothing can stop autistic burnout. It is inevitable. And it fucks with your gym and everything else.

This is excessively long, so I did not read it all.

What I got is that this is about greatly reducing cortisol and stress hormones for improved skeletal muscle growth. This is true because cortisol worsens nutrient partitioning, and it is catabolic towards skeletal muscle.

Poor nutrient partitioning means more of the nutrients go towards fat / adipose tissue instead of skeletal muscle and tendons and skin. Lower cortisol will improve recovery.

I’m implying that my diet is optimal for lean muscle growth already, and i’m stacking both

Unironically my oxytocin is probably crashed to negative levels as well.

It becomes a chicken-egg situation. You can’t get girls while your hormones are raping you like this. But that’s also what it would take for the situation to be improved. Brutal.

I probably should take antidepressants at this point being numb cannot be worse than what I’m experiencing as there is literally no joy or goodness in my life and has not been for years now.
