An undocumented 30-year-old Moroccan man was sentenced on Thursday afternoon to two years in prison (and two years banned from French territory) for sexual assault.
Around 4:00 a.m., in an apartment, a man hears suspicious noises. This friend and guest of a blended family (editor's note: a woman, her children, her boyfriend and the baby they had together) goes to wake the mother of the family. They both head for the room of one of the lady's daughters where the grunts seem to come from. The mother opens the door and discovers, in horror, her companion lying on top of the 7-year-old girl. The man, naked, rubs himself on the child. The Bethoncourtoise and the other witness, who is also shocked, stand back and alert the gendarmes.
