They keep these vacancies and deliberately reject people so that they can get H1bs because a requirement is saying that you actually did look for these jobs at home and couldn’t find anyone (that’s why you see all those entry level positions requiring 5-7 years of experience). If it were up to me, I would rather have low skilled immigrants who will pick strawberries over high skilled curries and gooks who are raping the entry level STEM job market right now.
