For example:

I can make the statement:

"Good looking, tall etc. people are tendentially more successfull, whether that be romantically, financially or in other aspects of life."

This is a fact. This is the big picture. It is a generalization that is true.

(depending on your subjective definition of success, but generally we would consider this true)
It is true, reguardless of whether or not you benefit from this truth or you like it or dislike it.

The small picture thinker will say:

"Hey, hold on, I know this one guy who is a 5‘4 indian janitor and he has a htb wife and a good job!
So therefore, your generalized statement is not true and there is no rule, causal link or even a correlation between the things you just named, because i can point out this one exception"




Outliers can be true, but generalizations are more true.

Just know that outliwrs don't disprove generalized rules and facts of life :lul:

This is water, but some people need to hear it.
