A year ago i discovered i had serious sleep apnea and i got a septoplasty immediatly. After it was done the surgeon said i also have a reccesed lower jaw or something like that(i couldnt understand anything cause of the anesthesia) and that my apnea will get better but may still continue cause of it. I can breathe much better now but i still snore and wake up with a dry mouth from breathing thru it.
But now idk how to proceed forward cause my lower teeth are fucked and dont know if ill have to wear braces first to fix my bite so i can get the surgery done after or if i can get the surgery done in the same time im wearing braces.
Did anyone have a simmilar experience and what doctor should i go to first? orthodontist, dentist, somnologist, ENT
i think the lower jaw surgery will improve my face a lot since i have overbite and i have to jutt non stop for it to look normal
