TLDR at bottom
I just came home from this really amazing gym sesh, every lift i hit a pr, it was decently empty and i had my favorite set of gym clothes on, being a tight compression shirt and some loose joggers. Everything was amazing i felt unstoppable and i got the craziest pump I've had in a long time. When it finally became time for my final exercise, rear delt cable flies, I, out of the corner of my eyes spotted this cute girl. Long story short we played eye tag for about 15 minutes but i didn't man up enough to go talk to her. Then, the time came for me to leave, but i still really wanted to go talk to her. So because I wanted to get to know her better so badly but already was done training, i decide to do some jester calistenics in the calistenics area in my gym. But unfortunately she was also in that area which just made me even more nervous. I imagened 100 different ways that I approached her while we played even more eye tag. But due to me going to the same place in the gym as her I started to be unsure if I just seemed creepy for "following" her unintentionally. Anyways you probably know how this story ends, I leave the gym with less self esteem without saying a word to her.
Usually when I'm drinking or on pregab I have an easy time being low inhib, I have said some really outragous shit at different parties I've been to so I know what I can say and get away with. But despite basically having free grounds to say anything i just can't get myself to do it. I will always have some excuse like "oh I'll start cold approaching when im done with my accutant treatment", or "oh I'll start cold approaching when I hop on gear". But the last time I had a goal; it was to get a thicker neck that matches my jaw size and now I have that but I didn't keep the promise I made to myself. So now I know I have to treat it more directly instead of "oh it'll happen when this happens"
So TLDR;
How can I get better at cold approaching, are there any "exercises" I can do, any small ways that I can "step up" to eventually cold approach women sober?
Anytime I can't do something low inhib I think of this stupid bird in his cage

As long as it doesn't include dependency on drugs (fine if it kickstarts the process, but the process doesn't rely on it)
