because your brain is used to it. you want the right side of your face on the left side of the image. Just take a selfie, and depending on whether it auto mirrors it, mirror it. One will look uncanny because thats the side your brain isnt used to seeing

dont do videos. just take a straight frontal selfie and the moment you mirror it, your asymmetries will make the biggest movements, regardless of accustomed you have become to either version (mirrored or not)

If the selfie looks normal, mirror it, if it still looks normal youre fine, if it looks uncanny you have asymmetries

I get what you said. Just mirror a second time to unmirror it. If both the mirrored and unmirrored version look normal then you are fine, if one version looks weird then you have asymmetries
