Lucid dreaming real?

Is lucid dreaming real and has anyone experienced it and is there a method or is it just luck always wanted to try but idk it always seemed like people were bullshitting

Plus some niggas said you gotta put a timer at 5 am aint nobody doing that

done it a few times before. worked when i was extremely sleep deprived for around 2-3 days of constant working. had to transition from my sleep paralysis state to lucid dreaming. doesn’t really happen anymore unfortunately
