10 mins is way too much, 30 - 90 seconds MAX for maximum gain.

I do 5 sets too and I wait like 1 to 2 min wtf
If you do 100 kg for 5 reps for example you wont need as much as rest as someone doing 200 even if its same rpe for both

I can barely do 60kg not even full 5 reps
 
10 minutes rest is just ridiculous from a practical standpoint, irrespective of whether it’s optimal or not

Im 17 on summer break i have all the time in the World , i dont squat for the gains i squat 3 Days in a Row then one day off from them because i always do them in the start because i Think its fun af then i go on and do my hypertrophy shit
