The most based thing i ever heard from you
Thanks but it’s true. Anyone who targets the vulnerable aka those who can’t defend themselves is a coward and scum

Why do kids get this extra social value. Obviously its natural, I get that, but there are so many people being shot and killed, raped, beaten half to death, all kinds of terrible stuff every day, and no one gives a shit about that, but when something happens to a 7 year old everyone has to start talking about how they would kill that guy who touched the 7 year old.

Its just like lookism, you give this social value to things based on your emotions instead of thinking about it. Why do you care when some guy touches a 7 year old but not when someone gets shot and paralyzed for life? Just because some guy is 20 that makes him less valuable than some kid? Would it make a difference if he was shot at 7 years old instead of 20?

This is what I mean. When I ask people, they just say “because they’re 7” or “they’re just a kid”. Why does a bad thing happening to a 7 year old automatically get more value but when it happens to an adult no one cares? There is no logical reason, its just a social response to put extra value on kids. When a fully grown innocent man gets shot, no one gives a shit, but when a kid gets shot its front page news. Obviously, its terrible in either situation, and the man who did it should be arrested. But if the person who is shot is 10 why does that make it worse than when the person who is shot is 20? I dont get it

We are hardwired to value children. You can try to be all edgy but you can’t go against nature.

Neither a 20 year old or a 7 year old who is standing around can stop a bullet or a stabbing.

We are also hardwired to put extra value on women. But of course we have examined that idea and we dont like it. What I am interested in is what makes it different than with kids? Why is it edgy to say that a kid shouldnt have extra value but its perfectly fine to say that a woman shouldnt get extra value compared to a man?
