Even theft crimes such as burglary or auto theft is not worth it, you need a lot of time just to survey the area and it's a big money investment + risk factor just for thousands. It's better to get a job and sporadically steal.

It's a lifestyle mostly for addicts because they can not hold a job and do not care about anything but drugs, you wont avoid prison forever, you can't do crime full time.
