I came across this study where the faces of men and women across different age ranges were rated by 315 participants. The attractiveness ratings were averaged out and assigned to each age group and gender. Unsurprisingly, women's attractiveness dropped significantly each decade after late teens, especially after 40. Men's facial attractiveness was rated pretty much the same up until 50.

What's your opinion? Is this study cope or not?

the stability in male facial rating isn't a good thing for most people.

good-looking people stay good-looking, but they are the minority.

ugly people stay ugly, but they're almost the entire population.

Women do generally age worse, because their skin has less collagen.

That doesn't mean men "age like fine wine"
though. That is a major cope.
Only a handful of men on the planet like Cruise or Pitt (probably Jared Leto as well) at age 40 elicit genuine physical desire in prime childbearing age women (18-28). Let alone men who are 45, 50+

The average mans prime is incredibly short and ends at roughly 30-35. For below average guys, they often bald badly and lose all facial neoteny even before 30 and have close to zero appeal to young women no matter how much they work out at the gym.

When men pass their prime, they need plenty of money or status to convince women to sleep with them. Women don't need to do that even when they are old and saggy. That is the main difference. A few Hollywood men with incredible aging genetics can bypass this.
