It's an improvement but it would be better if he also got maxillary impaction. Lip lift alone can only do so much. Both surgeries are complementaries.

I’m thinking the wider nasal base is the result of the lip lift unfortunately.

Max impaction doesnt change the projection of the maxilla I think, so I don't know how that would result in a wider nasal base or a flatter profile.

Besides I was actually referring to the tip of his nose that seems more upturned, and the dorsum that looks more concave.

This also makes the result look unnatural. Both upper and lower lips are around the same width now.
